About The Race
Hosted at the Westin Bear Mountain Resort, this scenic and challenging course begins in the Bear Mountain Resort village and winds its way up and down along the Nicklaus co-designed golf course cart paths. With panoramic ocean, mountain, and city views you can be assured that this will be the most beautiful 10k you have ever run. The Mountainside Athletic Club is our host for the day and will provide food, beverages and draw prizes. Following the event, the staff of the Mountainside Athletic Club invite you to enjoy the facility's amenities which include a heated outdoor salt water pool, hot tub, sauna, plus Ladies Only and CoEd Gyms.

2009 Race Souvenir is Asics bath towel screened with the race logo. Note: To book a hotel room quote "BMR10k" when you call the reservation line at (250) 391-7160. Hotel rooms are paid for separately from the race registration fees. All hotel rooms are based on double occupancy.

Prize Money
There will be $1500 in prize money awarded to the top 5 overall male and female in the 10k as well as a $100 bonus for breaking the course record. Prizing will be awarded as follows:

Post Race Awards and Expo
Join us after the race in the Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa Ballroom for the awards ceremony and post race expo. Awards will start at 10:30am. After the race join us at Jack's Place Pub for The Zone @91.3 After Party featuring local Victoria band, Quoia.
